Layered Mystery
The editing is wonderfully creepy—deliberate cuts and smart transitions really set the vibe. The score adds just the right amount of tension without overpowering. Cinematography feels a bit soft, but the shot choices make up for it. The framing and composition keep you hooked throughout. This is ambitious—lots of extras add depth and realism to the mystery. The blend of suspense and jump scares is well balanced and keeps the tension tight. Editing is high level and intentional, though watch out for a few black frames that pop up. Overall, a layered short that steadily builds toward a chilling and inevitable conclusion. Really solid film!
Head Games
Story very Good. Screen effects and color correction inconsistent. cliche to find the envelop in middle of desk.
Surreal and Unnerving
This was a standout piece — stylish, smart, and genuinely unsettling in all the right ways. From the very first moments, the film establishes its tone with sharp sound design and a haunting soundtrack that pulls the viewer in and never lets go. The close-ups are used to great effect, creating a striking sense of unease. The editing is beautifully done — deliberate and disorienting in the best way, with bold cuts and strong use of sound to heighten the atmosphere. The shifts in lighting — like moving from a bright room to total darkness in the next shot — play into the dream logic perfectly. The cinematography leans gauzy and soft, which gives the film a dreamlike feel. It may be intentional, and it works for the most part, but I personally would have liked to see a bit more sharpness to bring out some of the visual ideas more clearly. Still, the handling of the actors — especially within a larger cast — is very well done. The performances are grounded and committed, which helps keep the surrealism from feeling too abstract. And most importantly, the narrative is strong. It doesn’t just rely on a creepy premise; it evolves and expands, building toward a finale that is surreal, satisfying, and truly memorable. This is impressive, unsettling work with real confidence behind the camera.
It's All in Your Head
I like the story idea here. Actually had some great jump scare type feels to it. Some effects were a little off and confused the viewer.
It's All in Your Head
The soundtrack is the driving force of this short. There needs to be more emotion from the talent. It's framed well, but the filter used doesn't fit the narrative. The ending is creative and well done.
