Letters3.0

A young woman preparing to leave home for university when interrupted by a strange mailman who delivers a bundle of childhood letters she once wrote to her future self. As she reads through them, she begins to remember her dreams and why she is taking this next step, helping her rediscover courage in the face of uncertainty.

Sweet Spirit3.4

This one’s got charm, no question. It gave me Disney Channel Original vibes — and I mean that in a good way. Light, nostalgic, and totally sincere. There’s a sweetness baked into the whole thing that’s hard not to root for. The voiceover, though? Really well done. Grounded, clear, and carried the story beautifully. And I loved the little visual style of the memory moments — that gave it a warm, nostalgic feel without trying too hard. Is it reinventing the wheel? No — but it doesn’t need to. The heart is in the right place, and the message lands. For now, it’s sweet, sincere, and leaves you with a smile.

Whimsical and Sweet, with Room for Visual Polish2.6

This was a really charming film — heartfelt and hopeful. The use of visual effects, especially the flying letters, added a playful, whimsical touch that fit the tone perfectly. I also really liked the projector-style effect for the memory sequences. The voiceover was well-performed and helped tie everything together emotionally. If I had a note for improvement, it would be on the visual side: I wanted more variety in the shots, and the lighting could have been stronger — especially on the character’s face as she read the letters. A bit more attention there could’ve elevated the emotional impact. All in all, it’s a sweet, sincere short with a positive message that’s hard not to like.

Letters3.3

Nice use of special effects for the letters flying out of the bag. Now, here is what will help you achieve a higher score. a Tripod! There are times when handheld help motivates a scene, but the scenes I'm seeing are not that. They need to be locked down and steady. Audio is decent but has some levels that are a tad low, and the voice over sounds hollow

The Magic Mailman2.5

I like the idea, but I don't think the film got there. I wanted more in the story. Shots need to be more stable and audio levels are up and down. Also differences in room tone.
