Not a Bad Take on Cringey TV
When I first saw the beginning scene of this film, I was pleasantly surprised by just how authentic the introduction was compared to other sitcoms. With all of the characters cheekily waving at the camera, paired with the only character who knows about their real situation trying to ask for help, I was already excited to see the rest of the film right from the start of the funny intro. However, although she played an interesting part in the beginning of the episode, I feel that the self-aware character starts to get lost among the other Quirkins' hijinks near the end because, as the film progresses, we start to see her in a lot fewer scenes. Then, even in some of the scenes that do have her in it, either the camera's angle or the scene composition itself seems to block her out. Nevertheless, although they may block our main character out a little bit, I still think that the camera angles on this film are pretty engaging and get the job done as they change between the various characters in a scene, sitcom-style. Plus, they also allowed the actors to pull off some hilarious jokes, like in the tennis scene, and do unrealistic, yet, funny things that earned a few giggles out of me.
Great Show
Nice concept and editing, writing could use a bit of work, great acting. Keep it up
The title is befitting... it's pretty quirky.
It was a strange concept to begin with, but the more I watched it, the more the concept grew on me. I would like to have seen her try to escape... sorta like The Truman Show. The jokes were campy like a bad 80s sitcom, which made for a lot of fun.
Great comedy show
I enjoyed this comedy episode. Please watch audio levels and transitions as the go up and down. Good job
Quirkins Vision
Nice color choices, editing, and acting for a 80s sitcom. The story is rich in content and detail. However, the humor didn't quite hit the mark for a sitcom, maybe intentional.
