Superb cinematography and directing
I really enjoyed the look of the film and the structure of the narrative. Some really well-crafted shots in here. We feel her struggle through the daydream and the closeups. Excellent short film, overall.
Great Cinematography
A great looking film and very Citizen Kane. Love the black and white and your contrast. Nice work.
Citizen Kane channelled.
The cinematography is shockingly good. You guys really dove into the Citizen Kane of it all. I didn't see too much, if any, Spielberg blocking in there, but there were a couple of really well planned out bits. The part that didn't work for me was the writing. The story, probably due to the lack of dialogue, was confusing. I couldn't figure out why she was reading a script or what that meant. That bit with her on the stage was beautiful.
Interesting Silent Film
Very nice camera work. Film was slow and music a little somber for me. Need a little more push in tempo. Good job
Great camera work.
The movie excels technically, showcasing great craftsmanship. However, it lacks a compelling story. The main character is portrayed very well.
